Everyone would agree that official Facebook app is great with no too many catches but just a big one: it takes too long to load content. Yes, that's the price for cuteness and for having in our mobile devices all the features available on the web. Fast Facebook comes to solve this. We agree that the layout isn't as cute as the official one, but it loads pictures and content way faster than it. And sometimes that's what matters.
Although the layout its different than the official one, it looks like great. It is in a ICS-like layout with a top and bottom bar with Gmail-like (or G+-like) icons. From top bar you can check profile, inbox, search, see friend's list, take a look at pictures and refresh. From the bottom bar you can compose message, load picture, share location, update status or see notifications. Thus, you can perform same stuff than in the official app.
Besides the scenery, there's only one catch: it loads the latest activity of our timeline and it doesn't refresh previous post. This is one of the reasons of its fast loading. Anyway, that's not really a catch unless you have thousands of friends or you check Facebook once every 6 months (exaggerating).
We promise that it runs smoothly, way more than expected since it's still a beta. A great discovery. High recommendable.

This app works great and stores on the sd rather than phone memory. would have rated higher if, check in allowed me nto search fpr alternative places ir add places. also noticed when some one in boxes you it keeps cpming up as new until you reply to them.

Only recommended for those anti-social who only likes to watch others post and done nothing. Its like reading the newspaper. You can't interact with others. App setting in Facebook need to change to "Friend" view otherwise your status will set as "Only me

Developers u all really developed a best possible app but it lags a bit.. m unable to like, comment n send msgs to others.. plz help out.. Deserves more than 5 stars after its solution..

Sort of liked it but when I try to comment it doesn't do it or I can't see it anyway. Was looking for something that didn't take up room on SD card like the FB app does.
