Fast Facebook is an alternative Facebook app that loads activity way faster than the official app

Everyone would agree that official Facebook app is great with no too many catches but just a big one: it takes too long to load content. Yes, that's the price for cuteness and for having in our mobile devices all the features available on the web. Fast Facebook comes to solve this. We agree that the layout isn't as cute as the official one, but it loads pictures and content way faster than it. And sometimes that's what matters.

Although the layout its different than the official one, it looks like great. It is in a ICS-like layout with a top and bottom bar with Gmail-like (or G+-like) icons. From top bar you can check profile, inbox, search, see friend's list, take a look at pictures and refresh. From the bottom bar you can compose message, load picture, share location, update status or see notifications. Thus, you can perform same stuff than in the official app.

Besides the scenery, there's only one catch: it loads the latest activity of our timeline and it doesn't refresh previous post. This is one of the reasons of its fast loading. Anyway, that's not really a catch unless you have thousands of friends or you check Facebook once every 6 months (exaggerating).

We promise that it runs smoothly, way more than expected since it's still a beta. A great discovery. High recommendable.
