Everyone would agree that official Facebook app is great with no too many catches but just a big one: it takes too long to load content. Yes, that's the price for cuteness and for having in our mobile devices all the features available on the web. Fast Facebook comes to solve this. We agree that the layout isn't as cute as the official one, but it loads pictures and content way faster than it. And sometimes that's what matters.
Although the layout its different than the official one, it looks like great. It is in a ICS-like layout with a top and bottom bar with Gmail-like (or G+-like) icons. From top bar you can check profile, inbox, search, see friend's list, take a look at pictures and refresh. From the bottom bar you can compose message, load picture, share location, update status or see notifications. Thus, you can perform same stuff than in the official app.
Besides the scenery, there's only one catch: it loads the latest activity of our timeline and it doesn't refresh previous post. This is one of the reasons of its fast loading. Anyway, that's not really a catch unless you have thousands of friends or you check Facebook once every 6 months (exaggerating).
We promise that it runs smoothly, way more than expected since it's still a beta. A great discovery. High recommendable.

But I can't... The graphical interface and useability is AWESOME! But... This app won't post my comments, likes, or statuses. I've installed the Fast Notifications also, and I don't receive notifications. Once fixed, this will be a solid 5 star app.

Cannot check in properly, cannot reply to some posts, some problems with reading and replying to messages. Otherwise it's a nice app and like it. Just need these things fixed up urgently. Thanks

The app most certainly meets my needs after dumping the Facebook app off my telephone. That was such a drama that I'll rather go without my social network than use the Facebook app. Now I can follow posts in my network, but posting comments or liking post

anything i comment on doesnt post to fb. to be sure of this i checked both the official fb app and on my pc. i even gave it 15 just in case it needed to sync....but nothing. i wish i could get my refund....

...messing up with their own good app. Used to be good then...shows half the post doesn't upload photos even if said executed..CRAP Nearly forgot...every time there is an update, you have to re-renter your credentials. A big NO BUY
