FollowMe uses the GPS and your network to track routes made while holding your device. You can check-in places and add pins, photos and comments. Once the route is complete, you can share it with your friends via e-mail or Facebook. It’s useful because it allows you both to recommend your friends specific routes and places, and let them know what you’re doing in your day-to-day or holiday trip.
FollowMe UI is as simple as easy to use. There aren't too many features so you can quickly get the hang of it. It would be great though if it had a better social network integration: Twitter, G+, etc. However, it does what it says properly. Useful and easy to use. Recommendable.

Whether you are just going about your normal daily routine, taking a hike with the dog, or going on a long trip, use FollowMe to track where you’ve been and what you’ve seen. Then, if you want, you can easily share the organized highlights with friends and family.
Simply start a track at the beginning of your adventure, and let the app run in the background while you use your phone normally throughout the day. Whenever you want to capture what you are doing, use FollowMe to take pictures, videos, and/or make notes. At the end of your adventure, you’ll have a track marked with pins to illustrate all the highlights from along the way.
FollowMe allows you to easily share your pictures directly from your phone to Facebook as a photo album of your trip---including maps of the track. You can also share your adventures via email to be opened in Google Earth for an interactive map view with pictures!

Great Idea but needs polishing
Good app. Suggestions for developer: The UI for attaching a picture/video to a pin makes you launch a separate camera application. If you don't correctly use the back button to return to FollowMe after taking your pic and th(61)
Just what I was looking for
I have used this app on many trips now, from walks with the dog around the block to long (>400 miles) drives, and I really like how easy it is to capture pics and publish what I want for the out of town family members to see on
