GetGlue is a social network based on check-in and badges system. Actually, it reminds us Foursquare but, instead of check-in where you are, you check-in what the stuff you're enjoying: movies, TV shows, music, books, etc. By checking what you watch, read or listen to, you create a profile that perfectly fits you: your hobbies, tastes, opinions...

What makes it such addictive is that in a few taps you can tell your friends what you're doing: "I'm watching... How I met your Mother" "I'm listening to the last album of ColdPlay". For instance. In addition, each time you check-in resources you win badges. Try to collect as many as you can and challenge your friend to do the same. You can rate the movies and TV shows, review them and recommend them to your friends. You can take at a glance on what your friends are watching/reading. As well as badges, you can earn rewards from over 40 major media companies and sticks (actual sticks in your mail, we mean) of your favorite movies and TV shows.

Finally, one of the features we liked most is the recommendation engine. GetGlue filters new releases and old favorites based on what you've watched, bookmarked or recommended. A smart recommendation system that will help you to discover those series that matches with your taste. Of course, GetGlue is fully integrated with Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare and even more social network are coming.
