Lightbox is a photo-sharing social network
Even though Instagram's Empire seems indisputable in iOS, we've several options in Android if we like photo-sharing social network. Lightbox has become one of the most popular of 2011. Although some of them are really complete regarding effects, integration with other social networks and smooth performance, maybe the added value of Lightbox is its simplicity to create your own photoblog.
Lightbox is set in black and white and you navigate through the app by tabs placed at the top. Thus, you can check "Lightbox" tab which includes your feed, your own posts and the photos you've liked. What's more, you can check from there notifications. From "My photos" tab you can import a photo from your gallery, take it or check your Lightbox profile out: your uploaded photos, your followers and friends. Finally, from "Explore" tab you can check photos from other users (no matter if you haven't add them already): Spotlight, featured or photos divided by categories. Discover hundreds of them, likes your favorites or even comment them.
It does offer full integration with Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Flickr and Tumblr and you can post at the same time in all of that social network and Lightbox. What's more there are up to 20 photo effects. You can share location, set the privacy of the photo on Lightbox and add a post before uploading it. You can turn the photo, mirror effect or crop it.
Lightbox is the first app of this emerging developer who are trying to make themselves a name on Android photo social networks.
