"Connecting business and people"

Reviewed by / Oct 17, 2012

LinkedIn is the official app of the well-known business-oriented social network

The way people is connecting each other is changing. Social networking started as a leisure activity. However, same wire that connect people for having fun and keep in touch, works for business and partnership. That's the essence of LinkedIN, the most-known and most-used business-oriented social network to connect people and business that share common goals or interests.

Official LinkedIn app fulfills expectations. It has been set in a sober layout that keeps the essence of the minimalism of its web version. That makes navigation faster and more intuitive. From LinkedIn logo on the left-top corner, users can access updates, profile, messages and groups. Likewise, on that dashboard there's a "search for people" bar to find contacts.

However, instead of looking for new connections that way, we recommend you to tap on "connections" where you can see your contacts and that "people you may know", a powerful tool to connect with new people that share studies, job or interests with you. Another detail makes the difference: on your timeline, beside your contacts updates, there's a "LinkedIn Today" section where you can see latest news and articles published on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is more than a simple social network: it's the ultimate tool to connect and keep in touch with mates, colleagues, business, discussion groups and projects. Perhaps even your future job is waiting for your there. Must-have

Hopefully the next one will sync to contacts too. Other apps already do, so why not this one?

Is there some reason I need to lose draft responses when I switch to another app or take a call and then come back to LinkedIn to finish writing? This is just terrible design. It should save the draft! Is this punishment for using Android? Similar issues exist when browsing profiles. I can't believe someone thought it was a good idea to not allow users to resume where they left off whether reading
