Proxima Lite

It's Christmas! And if you're partying after work, what could be worse than waking up at a station a long way from home? Let Proxima warn you when your stop is near! Proxima allows you to set alarms based on proximity to a specific place, rather than a specific time. You can store your popular destinations for future use.

So, if you are the type of person who gets engrossed in a book, or tends not to pay attention (and who pays attention during the party season?) whilst on the train or the bus, this is the app for you.

Brief instructions:

Use the plus icon on the menubar to search for an address, or use the menu to search nearby.

Optionally, edit the title and description; your locations are added to the home screen.

Select your preferred ringtone from the main options menu - this is the tune you which will wake you up, so no lullabies! Note that we store/restore your current settings, before using our own for your alarm.

Tap on a location from the home screen to activate its menu.

Select a location using the tick icon, and select a radius from the target and update interval. Note that, short intervals involve doing a lot of GPS processing, and so are battery intensive.

You can set one of your locations as 'Home', and add an icon to your device's home screen, to quickly activate your most used alarm.
