As this app runs constantly in the background, you can't use it with an old/crappy phone. This app will slow your phone down drastically and drain your battery. Just fyi, I am using a Galaxy Nexus S.

Nice app if you happen to be at the 10 places displayed, no search feature or pages I'd locations. I usually have to go into foresquare so I can search for my destination so don't get to use sonar as often.

Unobtrusive (background app), working well with FourSquare particularly. At just over 3 months, no issues at all: Samsung Galaxy S III on 4.1.1 & 4.1.2 / HTC One X on 4.0.4 from memory.
