Aussie Rules AFL 2012 is here! Count down the weeks, days, hours and minutes to each game in in the Australian Rules Football 2012 season.

If you love Aussie Rules Football, this is the App for you! Select your team or follow the next match in the league.

The Home Screen Widget provides the current time to go until the start of the next match, and tapping the Widget gives you instant access to crowd sourced live Score Updates, past results, season and round ladder tables and the fixtures for all teams for the entire season including the home and away rounds and the finals.

Quickly find who your team play next. Who did they play last match? How is your team doing in the ladder?

Tap on a team to take you to the team website, instant access to the latest news.

Tap on the GEO button to see a bird’s eye view of the venue in your phone’s map application.

If you are at the ground or perhaps watching the game live, you can be the live scorer, just two taps to pass on the latest scores to the CDTBD community.

Game start times can be shown in either the time zone of the game or in your own local time zone.

Install more than one widget so you can follow your team or the entire league on your home screen.

Pico, the voice synthesiser, announces the count down when the time is an exact number of days to go and on half-hour intervals in the last four hours before game time.

When enabled, the game siren sounds off on exact days-to-go, and then half-hourly in the last four hours with the last five minutes just like being at the ground!

Sounds effects and text to speech can be turned on or off per Home Screen widget using the settings menu option.

SCORE UPDATES

Vacuum Punk aims to provide fast score updates by using the resources of our installed user base. If you are at the ground or watching the game live on TV, you can be our "on-the-spot" scorer and with just a couple of taps you can update the scores in the Vacuum Punk score cloud for all the other users.

Features:
o Fast access to the fixtures and previous match results.
o Audible count down in last four hours before the next match.
o Score updates, ladder updates and fixture alterations all update seamlessly, you get no "loading" messages.
o Widget can be installed multiple times, follow the league and your favourite team every time you turn the phone on.
o Access each team’s home page to keep up with the news.
o Geo-location data takes you to a bird’s eye view of each venue, where is that new ground? Use it to navigate to the ground on match day!

Vacuum Punk's Truth In Advertising:
This application uses the Internet to download database revisions and updated results and scores. It does not offer a true real time score update and we rely on our user base to enter in new scores as they occur.

The application reads the phone state only to prevent background game announcements from interrupting phone calls.

CDTBD does not access your SDCARD at all, despite Android requiring the Permission.

This is a great looking app and the XREF view is the most useful tipping tool I have ever seen.
