NHLPA Beard-a-thon

The 2012 NHLPA Beard-a-thon is a new charitable partnership between NHLPA and Heart & Stroke Foundation designed to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

From the start of the 2012 Playoffs until the final game of the Stanley Cup in June, fans will collect pledges, grow their own play-off beards, have the ability to challenge friends and raise additional funds to fight Heart Disease in Canada.

Participants can use this app to:
-Track donations on an individual fundraising thermometer
-Solicit donations from their family & friends via their phone’s email address book, Facebook and Twitter
-View personalized event day information like dates, times, location and map
-Connect to Facebook to share fundraising updates
-Instantly process secure credit card donations through the mobile web
-View and share messages on their message board
-Learn more about Heart & Stroke Foundation
