There are catch-all social network as Facebook, G+ or Twitter. However, there are also specific ones like Instagram, Foursquare, Pose... All of them focused on an issue. Why not taking part in a sports social network since sports events makes get excited billions of people around the World? This is PlayUp purpose: creating a platform where sharing sports event with your friends, commenting them and keep updated.
First off, you need to sign up, and you can only do it by connecting your Facebook or Twitter account. Then you can start sharing stuff with your friends, find new ones and start becoming enjoyin PlayUp world. PlayUp serves up live scores and stats for the most followed/watched sports around the World (NBA, MLB, Premier League, NCAA...). What's more, you can create private hangouts with your friends for specific events like the next league date. This way you can message each other in real time around the action, see real-time score and other useful info related to the match. You can also join public discussions with other fans, what makes it really interesting.
Since PlayUp is integrated with Facebook and Twitter, you can post on your timeline any relevant info from PlayUp. There are push notifications and friends alerts.
