A video editor thought for training purposes.

You know we love when developers imagine and create apps beyond casual gaming or non-sense pranks. Smartphones have to be useful, and have to be so now because it seems that our beloved devices can do anything but we have no ideas for them. As if you put a huge box of Lego in the hands of a non imaginative child, if you know what I mean.

Besides that, there aren't many video editors around. However, this isn't the panacea of video editing, because it's been thought for more prosaic purposes instead of weddings or amateur short films. It comes with the exact needed options to do what it's been designed for. This is, record short videos, draw marks and arrows on it, add voice comments and play it in slooow moootion. User Interface is so clean that your sixty years old Physical Education teacher will get the hang of it in a couple of minutes. It goes without saying that all edited vids are shareable via the usual ways.

Thus, this app becomes extremely handy as soon as you lose your fear to be recorded. So you are a basketball player? Shoot your precious fade-away and analyze it. Want to improve your secret-move-to-sack-that-QB? That's fine. Working on your shoryuken? It doesn't matter. If you are an organized sportsman or sportswoman, you can even keep a gallery of videos by date, allowing you to compare your past prowess with your present one.

We miss an option to take an exact screenshot and save it apart, a brightness and contrast slide to make videos clearer and some library or link to somewhere to look up the most usual mistakes when running/tumbling/pas de chat-ing. Petty details. By the way, it'd be nice there were a few templates representing courts and fields, so you can play with the arrows and stuff to save tactics or choreographies.

Indeed, as you may already guess, beyond sports and martial arts this app can be useful for jugglers, dancers and all kinds of scenic artists, even for studying body language in a speech. In short, it's about recording a video, playing it in slow motion and make notes. And it works flawless, and I'm sure that we will see a lot of coaches with this app from now on.

The only problem is that it seems to order videos you import in what I think is the wrong order.
