It looks like another launcher but it isn't at all. Actually, it is a "complement" to your current launcher. It adds a layer of menus and features accessible from swiping tab menu.
By pulling out the grip which is always shown in the screen, you can display 2nd Home menu, which layout reminds Windows Phone. From that grid, you can tap any app shortcut you've previously set. If you swipe again, you'll get access to the tools grid. From there, you can access general settings, app drawer and some toggles (can be personalized) like memory cleaner (task killer), brightness adjustment, sound mode, led light, Wi-Fi and bluetooth. Likewise, you can set an App Lock which will keep intruders away from messing with your 2nd Home app configuration.
The app is set in a cute and neat layout which grid view reminds to WP design. It runs smoothly: I didn't notice any lag when displaying or hiding the menu. In fact, not even extra battery consumption. In addition, 2nd Home is highly configurable: appearance, toggles displayed, apps, notifications, position.
In brief, a really useful tool that helps you perform faster actions in your mobile device.
