- Turning your phone over for snooze
- With more settings would be better
AlarmDroid is a typical alarm with a new and useful feature
AlarmDroid is an alarm clock app which is really easy to use. You just need to tap on the + icon to add a new alarm by writing the name, the type of alarm (countdown, time, date and time), snooze time, repeating settings, ring tones, speaking clock and so on. Ring tones can be radio stations, so you can wake up with the sound of your favorite morning program.
Besides the typical snooze system, AlarmDroid adds a special feature called flip'n'snooze, which allows you to turn the snooze mode on by turning over the phone, which can be really useful as often you don't really feel like opening your eyes for tapping on the right button.
Of course, as any similar application, AlarmDroid can be installed as a widget for your homescreen, so you can have access to it more directly and always visualize it. It was created by Fabian Lueghausen, creator of other useful tools for Android users. Good alarm, many settings and including a really useful new feature.
AlarmDroid is a feature-rich alarm clock application. It is created to give every Android-User the opportunity to wake up his(her) own way, not caring about whether he(she) is an early bird or a morning grouch.
AlarmDroid's special feature is the flip'n'snooze feature, which allows the user to turn the alarm clock back into snooze mode by turning over the phone. Further, it provides a speaking clock, which does not only announce the time but even the local weather conditions.
These and more features are waiting to be discovered by you! Even internet radio stations are supported as alarm tone.
(I recommend to install "Rings extended" additionally)

Unfortunately, it seems to be nearly impossible to develop an application like AlarmDroid which works on every available (and very different) Android device and version perfectly. So if there appear any bugs, please send me an email and I will find a solution for this problem! Thanks! :)
--- Please also support me ---
It costs a lot of time/money to develop and improve AlarmDroid. And to answer the tons of emails I get every day. Therefore, any support (particulary financial support) is very appriciated. More details at
* Volume issue fixed
* Issue with simultaneous alarms fixed
* Performance improved
* Translations updated
* Countdown alarm (alarm settings > alarm type > countdown)
* Shake algorithm
PLEASE CHECK your sensor sensitivity settings. By default, you have to shake *3x*!
[Menu > Preferences > Controls > Sensor sensitivity]
When setting the time in the time picker dialog, you can tap the numbers (hours, minutes) and the keypad will open as in the older versions.

Been using for at least 3 years, best alarm app out there. Just got a Nexus 5 and can't turn off alarm with the power button. In fact, can't even turn on the screen until I flip or shake to snooze first. Please fix! Thanks!
Best reliable alarm app.
But now it never rings! it says it is ringing but there is no sound. I have to enter the app, snooze it, and only after that it will really ring after its snooze period. Please fix
My phone goes irresponsive every morning if I use custom ringtone, I've tried changing tones too, it used to be a great app, fix this please,
Best Android Alarm app in market for sure, I've been using it for quite some time now. Only thing I'm still missing is google now support ("wake me up at ***"). Otherwise love it!
Like many other people, this was my only alarm app for the past 3 years until recently. The application started skipping alarms and not making any sound at all. Hopefully there'll be a fix soon. I'm switching to another application now, I can't hope it wi
I started having a problem with two phones on Android 4.4, one a Galaxy Nexus running a community 4.4 ROM, the other my new Nexus 5 running stock Google kit kat version. The problem is that, when the alarm goes off, somehow the lock screen becomes incred
