"Reliable FTP client"

Reviewed by / Feb 23, 2012

AndFTP is a FTP, FTPS, SCP and SFTP client with lots of features

If you're looking for a reliable FTP client you've just found one. Although it's layout is quite simple, it's also really easy to use, what makes it way more interesting than others. You can add and manage several FTP configurations. You can easily switch between remote/device file browser, download and upload files, create/delete new folders, rename or move them. Likewise, you can set permissions, sort folders by name, size and date.

From advanced features (only Pro version), you can set the charset, mode, SSH key, key pass or even choose the sync type. What's more, you can set permissions for specific files what's specially useful if you're uploading files to a public FTP.

It seems that Android 4.0 ICS users should turn off "Force GPU Rendering" for making it run properly.

LYSESOFT has done a great job with this app, specially regarding ease of use and reliability. Recommendable.

Its pay per device, so if you get a new or whatever as i do every six months you have to pay * devices ! In my case +10*the buy amount then, and its more expensive then getting wsFTP for windows ! And useing remote desktop instead !

It would help if the program provided an explanation why synchronization failed and other potential problems. I also wouldn't have to post this comment here if there was an easy to find helpdesk email somewhere on the Playstore.

I purchased this software mainly keeping in mind the sync feature.if I had to manually copy the files from local folder to FTP or FTP to local folders,ES file explorer works great. Sync doesnt seem to work for me at all. Manual copy works ok so there isn't settings or permission issue.developers should fix the sync issues immediately, otherwise this app isn't worth it. Another thing is if I have to

andftp is a very user friendly and reliable client and has allowed me to shift files in either direction with great ease. I would like to see bug fix where you are prompted if files queued exceed available space rather then filing to capacity on local device. looking forward to taking advantage of pro version in the field. Personally, I prefer to keep as much control on my data as possible rather
