"Let's put your device in the charts"

AnTuTu Benchmark makes a multi-test of your device's hardware

Benchmark apps have become a good way to compare potential and response of different pieces of hardware. That worked on hardware for PC and laptops for a while and now it makes sense having similar tools to compare CPU, GPU, RAM, etc given the amount of manufacturers and models that are coming out.

Benchmarking is now easiest than ever thanks to mobile benchmark like AnTuTu. You just need to run it, get the results and compare them with other results perform by individual users with their devices. This way users cannot just compare performance regarding different devices but also how different Android versions or custom ROMs affect performance same model devices.

AnTuTu Benchmark runs a full test through the "Memory Performance", "CPU Integer Performance", "CPU Floating point performance", "2D/3D graphics performance", "SD card reading/writing speed", "Database IO performance" and many other parameters. Ohter single text like "Stability test", "Battery life", "3D rating" and "battery saver" can also be run. It take a few seconds to run the full test. The final score is displayed by CPU, GPU, RAM and I/O. Users can add a nickname, comment and rate their device's performance before submitting it to the community.

In addition, users can access the charts and compare one-to-one any device to their own device. Likewise, there's a forum where the community is discussing results and other related issues.

AnTuTu is an indie benchmark tool which means that (at least so far) there's no effective influence of any manufacturer to focus on one or other parameter (which would improve make some brands climb in the charts).

Developer's original description available here
AnTuTu Benchmark is Android Benchmarking tool.

We have known there are some errors/ bugs in the latest versions, such as 2D/ 3D crash, test aborts/ hungs, force close, etc. If happens such phenomena, please contact support@antutu.com by provide detailed model information, i.e., the information in Settings-> About phone. Does it crash every time or occasionally? Has the OS been updated or flashed recently?

Why the scores are different for different tests? Mobiles and tablets have entered quad-core age. The whole system becomes more and more complex. Scores difference may caused by varies of factors.

Why device displayed as "unauthenticated"? When we need to confirm the performance of one device, we need corresponding device to do the test. It will displayed as "unauthenticated" if we do not have this device. Please contact your device's manufacturer to modify this into "authenticated."

How does the rankings in AnTuTu Benchmark made? We select the most representative scores of devices, usually the medium scores, and then compared with others. The devices on the rankings are selected according to the popularity in corresponding country/ region, and different classes are needed as well. Because there are quantitative restriction of the rankings, we are unable to make all the devices listed on.

Whether AnTuTu Benchmark is just? AnTuTu does not belong to any manufacturer or chip supplier. We have our own pursue of Android performance. We would not modify our app to make manufacturers get better scores on AnTuTu Benchmark. Besides, we had expose several cheating on AnTuTu Benchmark.

What are the useful of benchmark? AnTuTu believes that a device with poor performance is a real bad device, though good performance devices may have other problems as well. It is possible to be solved in the future if there are apps' issues. However, there is no chance to solve if it is related to the poor performance.

Is AnTuTu Benchmark accurate? It is hard to answer the questions regards to the accuracy. This can only judged by users themselves. The method is quite simple: If a new device's benchmark exceed more than 50% than equal class devices released at the same time, then the result is questionable.

AnTuTu Benchmark can run a full test of a key project, through the "Memory Performance","CPU Integer Performance","CPU Floating point Performance","2D 3D Graphics Performance","SD card reading/writing speed","Database IO" performance testing on the mobile phone Performance of the hardware to make score.

In reaching the overall and individual scores of the hardware, to judge by the scores of the performance of the hardware. Uploading scores and view your device in the world rankings, allowing points to let you know the level of hardware performance equipment.

NOTE: The Phone calls permissions we request only for get phone model and hardware info, then we can identify your device and gave you ranking. We never get your SIM ID or PHONE NUMBER.
