Atooma is a ground-breaking app that enables users to automatize phone processes
We spend a lot of time looking at our smartphones' screen. That's a fact. However, some of that time is spent enabling/disabling features (WiFi, data, sound, bluetooth, GPS) once and again. Since most of that processes are activated/deactivated following a pattern, why if we could program them to be performed automatically? Wouldn't it make our life easier?
That's Atooma premise. Make your life easier by automatizing lots of different daily processes carried out in your smartphone. Ok, there are lots of apps that helps you do that. However, we haven't seen none like this one regarding versatility and user-oriented interface.
It works with coding logical, that's it: IF something happens THEN DO whatever. Don't be scared though: everything is about icons and visual managing. There's a IF carousel with different categories: mobile, apps, data, pack (NFC) and objects (coming soon). Thus, you can set for instance IF - Mobile - Location is "wherever" (uses GPS and Google Maps to find it) - DO - Mobile - Wifi ON. Thus, when you get to the office (for example), WiFi will automatically turn ON. Awesome, isn't it? Well, that can be customized at your whim: location, WiFi, bluetooth, sound profiles, apps and many many more. Just let your imagination fly.
One of the strongest point of Atooma is that your "atooma" (your automatic sets) can be private or public. If public, other Atooma users will be able to check them and download them to their own Atooma profile. This makes it even more interesting: we all have similar needs and sharing makes use more efficient. Connecting Atooma to your most-used service: Dropbox, Drive, Facebook, Instagram, etc. will empower the app offering even more possible combinations.

Battery usage improvements

Does exactly what I want it to do. Maybe have a website with the community content on so its easier to browse?
An amazing app that would help you save battery if tweaked the right way, but when used on nexus 5 it absorbed 18 percent which is not acceptable and defeat the purpose at that point. And keep the device always awake !
Consumes too much of battery on my sg note 2, even more then the screen (82% of battery). Dev please do something...
So this app is pretty cool, almost exactly what I was looking for but a few issues: 1. It's slow! I set a horizontal shake to open an app, and it takes around 5 seconds to do it. This is slower than it would be for me to just open the app myself, although the ability to also make it max the media volume (what I would want with that app) is nice. The lag seems to be from launching the Atooma app
After the last update the app doesn't work! I had to uninstall it! (Nexus 4)
