Bandwidth Usage Estimator

This application provides a rough estimate of your future bandwidth usage. Bandwidth -- or traffic allowance -- refers here to the amount of data that can be downloaded from your website. Webmasters are allocated a given traffic volume each month. If this volume is exceeded, web hosting providers are likely to suspend their services. To prevent this from happening, you have to predict your future traffic volumes in a careful manner. This tool evaluates future bandwidth usages (in gigabytes per month) as a function of: 1- Average Daily Visits, 2- Average Pages Viewed per Visit, and, 3- Average Page Size (in kilobytes). If you intend to allow people to download files from your site, two additional inputs have to be specified: 5- Average Daily Downloads, and, 6- Average File Size (in kilobytes).
