A simple yet useful barometric altimeter that actually works. Meant only for devices such as the Galaxy Nexus that have a built in barometer or pressure sensor. Computes your altitude from barometric pressure using the standard atmosphere model. Can be easily calibrated with a known altitude. Calibrate as the weather and your location changes for best results. Displays altitude above sea level in feet or meters and barometric pressure in millibars. Uses barometer only, does not use GPS or other location services.

But not nice to down rate this decent effort just because you have a tablet that doesn't have a barometer.

Doesn't even start, crashes, on Nexus 7 (WiFi, & 3G version) running stock Android 4.2.2 JellyBean (rooted, nothing modified) a build JDQ39. please support Android tablets.

I live at 565m altitude, 469m on dash. Slightly off by a hundred meter or so. Next... Well, due to no ads I give it a 2 score.
