Battery Doctor (Battery Saver) is a really useful and particularly effective app which will help you regulate the battery usage of your mobile. Battery doctor will let you know which apps are using your battery excessively, and by making some changes you'll be able to keep your mobile alive for longer. You also get helpful advice on adjusting your settings, like reducing the brightness of your screen, or turning off the display, both of which will help save your battery.
Battery Doctor also tells you when you should charge your device, and gives you a list of all the processes which are running and the percentage of battery use. And as if that weren't enough, it also lets you change the mode to your customized setting, so that the battery lasts as long as possible.
This is a really useful app that'll help you improve your battery's health, as well as adjust the usage so that the charge lasts much longer.
And remember that thanks to the notification bar, you'll always have info about how much battery you've got left, within easy reach.
The app has a load of advertising, although its huge array of options outweigh this mall inconvenience. It is, without doubt, one of the best apps out there for personalizing your mobile and getting the best use out of it as possible.

Original review from Nov 28, 2014 (Peter Warrior):
Although many devices come with options to check out battery usage and change your settings, these options used to be in different places of the user interface, so you have to tap a few times here and a few more there. Battery Doctor tries to save time unifying all known options regarding battery in a single, free, without ads app. In addition, it gives useful tips to regulate your battery expense and prolong your battery life and duration. It doesn't work as an automated task killer, in case you were wondering (basically because tasks killers used to drain battery instead of extending it). However, you can check which apps use more battery and stop running them through Battery Doctor.
As you can easily read all included features in its developer's description (KsMobile), we'll try to be straightforward: once you install this app you will get an icon on your desktop, though you can later place a 4x1 widget there if you want to have all settings at your fingertips.
Through this icon you will get access to easily understandable stats about your battery usage and, here's the best part of it, a link to every modifiable setting. Thus, below the estimated battery time left there are not only links to wifi, screen settings and so on, but also how much time they will take. If you don't want to bother with everything, there are three preset modes to make your life easier.
Other great options allow to do a breakdown of battery usage within a time range, know if your charging habits are the best for your device and customize every option this app brings. Everything packed in one of the best user interfaces we have seen so far, so you can easy and smoothly modify your settings on the go. Lastly, battery left is always shown as a percentage at the notification bar, instead of subjective green battery icons. We could only ask, as there's no harm in it, for some skins or customization options.
If you haven't already got a battery app, here's what you are looking for. And if you already have one, we're pretty sure you will like to check this out and compare it. Absolutely recommended.
