Battery Monitor Widget
1,000,000 - 5,000,000 downloads
Pros
- Detailed statistics of battery usage
- Data usage history
- Graphs
Cons
- This version has only one size widget
- Layout
Remember, this isn't an app, but a widget: you can only access it by placing a widget on your homescreen. You'll notice that there's only one widget (we're missing different size widgets, only available in the full version) which is a battery level indicator. However, the widget isn't the most important point of this app, but its battery tracker.
Once the widget is placed on your homescreen tap it. You'll get to Battery Monitor Widget dashboard. From there you can useful info concerning your battery usage. From home, you can see phone status (charging, discharging), battery health, technology (mAh), battery level and empty estimation time. The latter is also displayed on a graph below.
From bottom tabs you can access battery usage history, battery life estimation in different scenarios and, finally, a battery calibration tool. In addition, there's a shortcut to Android built-in battery testing and usage menu. Developers let users know that mA estimation isn't accurate in all devices (more information on their website).
Battery Monitor Widget is a great tool for those who like to change ROM and compare their performance.
The most complete tool to manage your battery: Shows historical data (%, mA, mW, mV and temperature), calculates estimated run-times and battery aging, helps calibrate battery, and improves your battery run-time.
NB:
- NOT all phones report accurate mA - Check app web-site for more information
- The app displays the % remaining, voltage and temperature data reported by Android OS
- Android battery stats have nothing to do with % calculations
== Pro version has all features unlocked and no ads ==
- Wide (2x1) and graphic (2x1, 3x1, 4x1) widgets
- Export data to System Tuner Pro
- Update battery capacity or reference based on measured data
- Keep information of unlimited number of batteries (2 in free)
- Add history markers manually or automatically on boot
- Much smaller APK size!
== Requires INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE access for ads ==
== FREE -> PRO MIGRATION INFORMATION ==
When migrating to the pro version, the app will retain the history file if it is in its default location (/sdcard/battery_history.txt).
The calibration data will also be retained as well, not the time estimates.
All other settings (display, graph, widgets) will have to be reapplied manually. Don't forget to uninstall the free version!
