If you’re a Direct Debit customer you can keep an eye on how much you’re paying and make sure you’re on track with energy.


You can also keep track of your energy usage to make sure you’re in control of how much you’re using, and compare it with other customers in your local area.



If you’re a HomeCare customer, you can book an engineer to fix a breakdown for gas or electricity and book an Annual Service visit appointment. *(For customers with a excess on their account currently cannot use this service)*

Business customers don’t need to log in. Just press the ‘Business Customers’ icon on the app homepage.

We’ll need a brief description of the problem, which Android phone you’re using, the version of the operating system you have, and the email address you use to log in.

This application is not specifically designed to work with tablet devices.

The application has several permission settings including use of the phone to make calls and use of the device camera. These are to allow you to make calls to any of the emergency contact numbers directly from within the app, and also use the camera flash as a torch to help you read your meter in the dark. No other personal data relating to you is processed. All information is secure and will not be shared in accordance with British Gas Privacy Policy (http://www.britishgas.co.uk/privacy-policy.html).

    Always says system down. Can't get on so might have to call them and stay on hold for 1hr as need credit

    This is a great app for an informational point of view. If like me not very technical the videos explain about setting up your heating system in dummy language. Only criticism is that it doesn't explain how to save money on switching to a different tarrif to save more money.

    Old app I never had a problem with, trying to update to new app and it's logged me out! Now won't download update. Wish I hadn't bothered

    This is great for keeping an eye on your account and submitting meter readings. Never thought I'd say this but will done British Gas.

    New update is supposed to focus on fixing errors. All its done is logged me out and when trying to log back in again it just flood the screen with errors and then says I've tried to login to many times. This app has never worked properly.
