Installed this a few days back, and today was the first time I really tried this out in the streets of London. Before going out I checked the reception coverage on BT's website at the location I was visiting. It was showing very good hotshot coverage. Removed the aim card and off I went. In the 4 hours I was at the location, I only managed to get connection no more than 5 times, and each time no more than a few minutes before being disconnected. And even the times I was connected, this was no more than 1-2 bars, and barely enough to open a website. The app is absolutely horrendous, and only supports other comments on this page. For a company that claims to have thousands of hotshots, and showing diagrams for the areas which supposedly to have very good transmission, where in reality this is far from the truth. The claims made by BT are not only inaccurate, but also false and misleading. Especially when these claims are also used to sell its services. I was not able to assess whether the weakness was the app, or the hotshot themselves, but simply the service did not work as a customer would expect. So this is a customer complaint. I will assess whether I will try it again, or whether I will delete the app, as in its current format it is not fit for purpose.

Stops mobile internet from working on samsung S8. Does not uninstall fully. I had to manually delete wifi networks to get mobile internet working again!
