Two requirements: Rooted device and Kernel which supports overclock and undervoltage (the app will let you know if iyour device supports it).
I would add a third requirement: know-how. OC and UV can damage your device, you better know what you're doing or drop it. This is one of the most effective and easy-to-use apps for modifying your CPU speed and parameters. It allows to choose among a list of presets (OC/UV profiles) or create them on your own.
Likewise, it allows to schedule profiles, deeply configure them (temperature, charging, battery, in-call) as well as check detailed info CPU-related.
Although layout isn't stunning, its simplicity makes it attractive enough. However, use it at your own risk. Good one.

Doesn't remember some settings. Messages that it's been granted root permissions are constantly appearing. Annoying as hell.

basic, like setcpu design better but had issues so installed this app and have issues with this too.
