Take control of your mobile data usage and stay under your budget with DataMi’s application and data usage tracker, DataWiz...

To save money on your mobile data bill, the app precisely monitors your mobile device’s usage AND predicts future usage.
This innovative technology, developed by the great minds at DataMi, an early-stage startup company spun out of Princeton University, empowers you to take control of your mobile data plan and keep expenses within your budget. With a cool, user-friendly interface, easy-to-understand graphs, data usage quota caps, and regular alerts, you’ll never go over your mobile data allowance again!

SLEEK, INTUITIVE INTERFACE: With a clean, clear, and simple interface, DataWiz is easy to set up and use.

VIEW PAST USAGE: Review your cellular and WiFi usage history by the hour or the day

TRACK CURRENT DATA USAGE WITH PRECISION: DataWiz measures cellular and wifi data in real-time, so you always know exactly how much you use

LOCATION-BASED TRACKING: Recorded data is linked with GPS information and, if WiFi, Network name. Easy to read maps show where data is used.

USAGE HISTORY GRAPHS: Swipeable usage history graphs give a clear and quick visual overview of your current and future data usage. Swipe between days, weeks, or months.

NOTIFICATIONS/ALERTS: By setting caps on data usage, DataWiz will alert you when those limits are reached so you don’t exceed your data allowance.

OPTIMIZE YOUR DATA PLAN: By identifying trends in data usage, you can choose a better data plan that fits your needs/budget.

SMART DESIGN: DataWiz delivers its tracking information via two complex algorithms: The first is used to recommend the daily cap by taking into account previous usage and the remaining balance, and the second algorithm calculates the expected budget for the rest of the billing cycle.

INNOVATIVE ENGINEERING: Motivated by the elimination of unlimited data plans by wireless service providers, DataMi has been founded with the goal to bridge the gap between consumers and providers. It does so by incentivizing both sides to make wireless data accessible and affordable to all.

UNDERSTAND YOUR DATA USAGE! In addition to tracking the amount of data usage, DataWiz educates users on the types of downloads and streaming that use the most bandwidth. With the inevitable disappearance of unlimited pricing plans, the ability to understand and precisely track your data usage with DataWiz is essential!

The app is free and without ads.

This is a very useful and simple app and works as advertised. However, I'm unable to save my settings which instruct the app my monthly data allotment as well as my billing cycle. If the developers release an update to fix this issue I would give this app a 5-star rating.
