You can specify application launch from the status bar.
To display the date and day of the week - "DayWeekBar"
- Display the Sun "DayBar"
Display the day of the week - "WeekBar"
Has been released for free as well.

I updated to jelly bean and now the date won't show in the bar. I tried reinstalling it but that didn't fix it.

Very nice I like it
But often closes. Needs a restart. sgs...
