Encryption Manager is a file manager, that offers a comfortable and secure way to keep files with confidential data encrypted using AES or Twofish encryption on your storage (internal storage, external SD card, USB storage).

Keywords: file encryption, data encryption, file manager, crypto, SD card, encryption algorithm, AES, Twofish

A master password is both used to access the application and to encrypt the encryption keys, that are generated randomly for each file. Confidential files are accessible directly after the login. With one click on the file, the file is decrypted to a user defined location and can be shown by an installed app for this file type. When you are finished working with the decrypted copy, the file is re-encrypted either automatically or with one confirmation click and the decrypted file is wiped from the storage. This wipe process will overwrite the data with random bytes before the file is deleted. So even if the device is lost or stolen, it is not possible to access your confidential data.

Encrypting new files is very simple: they can be chosen either with the built-in file manager or by simply using the Android "send/share" function from another app.

I installed this app for the features. Encrypting multiple files with only one password entry and integration with send to menu sound awesome. But only numbers are allowed for master password. I hate remembering a bunch of numbers. So this app was not usable for me.

Overall a very good app. File management is smooth and nearly seamless with other apps. Transparency works very well. The ONE thing I don't like is that if you decrypt a file it isn't put back in it's original source folder-which it should be. I actually still can't locate the decrypted test file, it's not in the folder the details option says it should be. Either put it back where you got it or a

Get real. Just slap a $ on it and call it done. This only encrypts 5 files. That"s so lame, you may as well just be honest & charge up front. Either that or increase the free file encryption to at least 20 before charging people.

The functionality to delete a file on after encryption isn't working. I had to delete the image file manually from the gallery. While this isn't a major issue, would be great if that feature worked and the file was original file was automatically shredded, opposed to just being deleted. On the plus side, the UI is nowhere near as offensive as the SSE app. Not sure if I will cough up the dollars fo
