"Flashing: let's make it easier"

Reviewed by / Jul 17, 2013

Flashify allows (root) users to flash boot, recovery and roms without even needing to launch recovery

Flashing process has been simplified a lot since first cooked ROMS were launched. However, Flashify goes a step further: it allows to flash boot images, custom recovery, full ROMS or any other flasheable zip file from the device, no need to reboot and launch the recovery.

Actually, it even allows to wipe cache, dalvik and data from the app (only when using a TWRP recovery). If you like to change so foten, you should use Flashify's tool to backup/restore kernel and recovery that saves it on your SDcard or on your Dropbox account. In fact, your Dropbox account can be connected to Flashify in order to easily get the files you need to flash.

Finally, you can reboot, reboot recovery and reboot bootloader from the app which is quite useful since there's no need to apply the buttons combination manually.

Remember than only root users can install and use Flashify. Free version is limited to 3 flashes/day. You can upgrade to Pro version (€1.49) to remove that restriction.

Whenever i try to do something, the app stucks and nothing happens. Tried waiting for about 10 mins and then i have to close from recent apps. That means app stucks but the OS is working fine..

Works really great for flashing and backing up recovery and kernel. One problem I see is knowing which zip to download when two are named the same. Here is an example; http://dl.twrp.me/hltespr/
