The screen is almost entirely a commercial to buy the paid version. Even basic features like auto rotate don't work. It's a big clock so if that's all that you need then go for it.

I'm gonna buy the full version now, this is an amazing app! Worked just like it said, even when my viewsonic tablet was in sleep mode!
