Friction Loss Calculator

Fire Department Friction Loss Calculator. Figures friction loss in 1.75" through 5" hose including lightweight / Ponn hose. The app does not add in elevation, appliance loss, nozzle pressure or residual pressure it is just a friction loss calculator and can be used to figure GPM from a smooth bore nozzle based on size or the nozzle.

The app uses FL=C*GPM²*L.

*All hose lengths are in 100' segments no 50' lengths*
