Gmail Attachment Download allows you to select the folder where you can save attachments
Gmail for Android is an awesome app for one of the best email service. It's easy to use, good-looking, and it includes a great amount of features (like sync to read emails offline) that make things easier. However, there's a catch: when you tap on "preview" or "download" for attached files, it automatically opens it with a built-in files manager or even downloads it to an specific folder you cannot choose. Gmail Attachment Download comes up to solve this.
Once installed, you just need to select "Gmail Attachment Download" after tapping on "preview" or "download" attached files. Then, the app will launch and you'll be able to select folder (you can even save in your SDcard), rename the file and check its size. And that's all.
In a nuthsell, Gmail Attachment Download is a plugin (you won't see it on your app drawer) that removes one of the inner catches of Gmail app for Android. Great one.
Installing Gmail Attachment Download will act as a plugin in your e-mail application in order to make it possible to download any file to your chosen folder. It will not create a homescreen icon and thus will save up precious application space.
Gmail Attachment Download is used by pressing the preview, view or install button of an attachment, and selecting our application.
Gmail Attachment Download is also compatible with other E-mail clients.
Note: will not work with .zip files, as these are blocked by google.
- Enabled selecting inner memory as output folder when you have both inner memory and sd card
- Some crash fixes

awesome app for those who do not know...where do their attachments go after they get downloaded.
Honestly with the file I was trying to open, it took an hour and I still didn't get it open. All it did was save and then give me the option to save the exact same file again. In my personal opinion, terrible app and one I will never use again.
Keep it up i this
Helping a lot
Does absolutely nothing whatsoever except occupy storage space. And why the hell do we even need a separate app to do something as basic as download email attachments, anyway? Next thing you know, those morons at Google will make us download a separate
