Google Chrome to Phone

Google Chrome to Phone is an app that sync your computer with you phone to share info through Chrome

Actually, what you can share is links, maps and currently selected phone numbers and text between your computer running Chrome and your phone.

How does it works? After downloading the app, you will have to install in your computer the extension "Chrome to phone". Get it from http://chrome.google.com/extensions/. It will integrate into your Chrome web browser a button to share info to your phone. Once all that is done the way to proceed is really easy: enter a site, location on Google maps, phone numbers, pictures and whatever you select on Chrome and click on the button "Sent to phone". Immediately that info will appear in your phone. No need to touch anything else.

It has to be said that if you send Google Maps links they will displayed on the Google Maps app for Android. Likewise, if what you send is Youtube links, they will be displayed on the Youtube app for Android. If you send a phone number it will appear on the dialer. And finally, selecting a text on a web page will copy the clipboard to Android (so you can paste it wherever you want by long-press).

Google Chrome to phone is one of the starred apps developed by Google Inc., the official Android Market provider, and the responsible of other indispensable Android apps as Google Books, Google Earth, Gmail or Blogger.

In the beginning we didn't get the need to have this app: "Sending links to your phone when you can read them in your computer, in a larger screen?. But that works maybe for news. It becomes really useful regarding location, Youtube videos you want to keep on your phone by downloading them or by marking them as favorite, and especially useful for phone numbers. We won't say that this is a must have, but a really good app that makes you more efficient.
