Gps to Ip is an application which allow to use the gps of your Android smartphone with Internet or in LAN, on a computer, emulating a real serial or USB GPS (NMEA protocol). This application is bound to a server application which we distribute for free, allowing to create a virtual GPS (COM42) on your computer. You will be able to use the position of your Android smartphone on Google Earth, Microsoft HighWay, and all the pc softwares capable of handling a serial or USB GPS using the NMEA transmission.
You can use the application over 3G or WIFI
For power users, the server software is available on Windows 7 32/64 bits.
This application has been tested on an Android smartphone embedded on an hexapod robot.
You need to install Java SE 6 32Bits for the PC software.

Once done you can launch GPS Server and connect the android device with the application GPS to IP: The default port is 7777, and enter the address of the PC running the server.
When the GPS smart phone will start to issue geographic coordinates (NMEA frames)your PC will be able to use the device COM42 with an application like Google Earth.
