Heli-Headspeed is a tachometer that measures the RPM of your RC model helicopter blades. For this purpose the blade sound is recorded and its frequency spectrum analyzed.
It works with electric and nitro model helicopters with two blades. In nitro mode the gear transmission ratio must be entered.
The app shows a small Quickstart guide upon first launch. Please read it!
The measurement process is simple: a ) select the expected RPM range and b) click the measure button.

I tried it several times on my 600 class electric heli....it gave wild readings weather I had the heli running or not.....its a waist of 4$

We tried this on few helis. Goes from 2300-3000.. won't give a reading. Worst tach I've ever tried.

Worked pretty good on my Blade CP Pro. Will be back tomorrow after I test my TRex 600 ESP 8s and TRex 550. Thanks

Bought this for my friends 700. Tested on my 450 with castle ice and was dead on with my set rpms.

Really does work. With no heli around it does show random numbers, but with heli running you get a stable graph and you know it's working.

You have to chose a range within a 1000 rpm for it to read and even then its way off. I think it just generates random numbers in the range you choose

Works great, would give it FIVE stars if it would from the SD Card!
