This application is compatible only with LG Smart TVs which are released in 2011. Application("LG TV Remote") for smart TV Models released in 2012(not listed in supported models) has been uploaded.
When a smart phone and LG TV are connected via router, after a simple pairing process, LG TV may be controlled conveniently with the smart phone similar to a regular or a Magic Motion remote controller.
[Network Settings on TV]
- To get started, connect your LG TV through wired/wireless router to TV LAN port.
- Go to Home Dash Board [SETUP] -> [NETWORK] -> Configure settings in [Network Setting].
[Network Settings on Android Phone]
- [Settings] -> Configure Settings in [Wireless & networks].
** Please ensure that the Smart Phone is connected to the same network as that of your LG TV.

VOL/CH: Change volume or channel.
Touchpad: Control pointer on TV by touching the touchpad screen on a smart phone.

Setting: Connect TV, edit TV name, touchpad sensitivity, set vibration or sound effects.
Mute for incoming call: Mutes TV for incoming call.
My CH: Manage My channel list in smart phone.

Honestly this works quite well and is very useful, however one issue with it regards my TV itself. It seems as if you need to conduct a network test before attempting to connect with the phone application. Scanning before doing so yields no results, but s

Have a 650t 3d tv but this app can't find it. Click rescan, the pairing windows comes up on TV but phone says it can't find it. Rubbish app

Installed and paired easily. BUT "My CH", "My Apps", "CH List", "NUM O..." and "CH up/down" buttons are greyed out and won't work on my LG 55LM6400-UA-OC TV. The only things that do work are Volume Up/Down "Capture" whatever that is, "Smart", "My Apps",
