What the App Does
* LOCATE your lost phone using the phone’s GPS. Now with Network Locate Service! Device GPS always provides the BEST location experience, and now Mobile Recovery can locate your device when the satellite signal is weak or unavailable (usually due to the device being indoors).
* See a visual history of where your phone has been, and get directions to its location
* Sound an ALARM to find your phone nearby, even if it’s on silent or vibrate
* LOCK your phone, and also WIPE your contacts from your phone to protect them from unwanted eyes*

* Offers a fast and convenient replacement process
* Can save you money should the unexpected happen
* Before erasing your contacts, be sure to activate Verizon Wireless’ Backup Assistant and back up your contacts.

I used it to become familiar in case of emergency. Location is most important for obvious reasons. It located my phone 1/2 mile from where it's true location was. That's a deal breaker. 1/2 mile can make a huge problem in trying to locate.

If you have this app and hope to use it to locate your phone, then I advise you to test the locate phone feature on their website frequently. My daughter and I both have Droid RAZR Maxx phones and the locate phone feature as well as the location history

I can't get this app to find my location. The GPS icon doesn't even show when I test to find my phone. Location history on the website is empty even though my phone is set up to check every 30 minutes. I have contacted support several times with no soluti

Since update to 4.1 motorola droid 4 no long locates. All location services on.

I just checked online and the last location shown was 2 years old.
