Used with WNDR3400, a supported router, removed app twice & reinstalled twice. No longer functions with Alcatel 995. App gives Netgear a black eye.

I wanted to like the NetGear Genie app, but it never worked for me. I have a router that is listed as supporting the app, but I could never get the app to connect/login. I searched for troubleshooting tips but found nothing helpful. I did find that numer

Installed the app, it recognizes my router but can't access it. It shows the signal in gray and it says connected but can't access internet. I am about to reset my nexus and start over not good.

I had no problems logging in to my router but I have two big problems with this app, The wifi key is displayed fuly, ie it isnt hashed. This means it could be copied top beach my security. Secondly the one thing that I want to be able to do with mmHg m

I am dissapointed in this app I download it try logging in and the app keeps telling me "Action timed out. Please try again." I deleted the app and tried installing it again and nothing!
