There is a known bug in the Android OS on your device if you are running Android Jellybean(4.1, 4.2, etc.) This bug causes your device to begin speaking. A solution to this problem is listed below:
Go to Device Settings->Application Manager. Go to the section/tab titled 'All'. Select the app titled 'Google Text-to-speech Engine' and click 'Disable. Then select the app titled 'Samsung TTS' and click 'Disable'.
Go to to Device Settings->Accessibility and enable Notify Plus. The app should function normally without the device speaking to you.

Within moments you can be notified about all applications installed on your phone.

This really increases the functionality of Droid Notify - makes it possible to add any app to get a notification popup. The support from the developer is superior than anything I have experienced. I had a question and got an immediate and helpful response

A very good app, world for SMS and missed call notification on the Samsung S2. Still checking on other features. Could improve in some functions, but much better than other apps I tried.

Tried the free one first. Then bought this, but it makes your phone talk out loud. Not good. Want my money back.

If you have an S3, don't waste your time. Developer was very quick to respond to my question, but the bottom line is that the Notify Plus version doesn't work on an S3 (using the pro version with no issue). Waiting for my refund. Will update my review

These notifications pop up, then when you click view, your lock screen appears, instead of taking you straight to the app, even when you have the box checked to unlock the screen in droid notify. I have no password on lock screen so this should not happen
