Not everyone dotes on gimmick-laden software. I like an app that does one thing, does it very well, and takes up very little space. I was slightly put off at first at having to download a separate component to change color/intensity of the back light, but it's logical if you think about it: chances are that you'll need the device for a quick temporary light, not for flashy colors and other fluf

Much better for my poop phone than the other 7 mb flashlight app I was using. One downside is that when the camera flash is on, the backlight is not automatically maxed out too.

Keeps a title bar at the top of the screen, regular use WILL result in burn in.Disappointed that title bar does not auto hide to prevent burn in.

You should be able to disable using the screen as a flashlight and just use the camera flash to save battery.
