The other applications provided links to Admob and other "common" developer sites. The only advantage here is not wasting space with a titlebar. It is still just ads on a bookmark, though. Any browser can provide a better experience and give you back that

Setting up some bookmarks is pretty easy especially for a developer. There should be more implied privacy
