Sensor: PIN photo diode VBPW34 x 8pcs (reverse biased and shielded)
Detectable radiation: Gamma particles
Measurement range: 0.05uSv/h~10mSv/h (Calibrated using Cs-137), 0.01cpm~300000cpm
Measuring time: about 15 minutes at the dose rate of 0.05uSv/h
Energy response: :662keV~1333keV
Software features
- uSv/h and its counting error calculation
- CPM calculation
- Manual setting interface for threshold
- Oscilloscope

I bough one to test background radiation. It works! The bad part is the application. If you see the pro version on iPhone it seems to have a lot of options, android version doesn't. The most annoying thing I've found is that sometimes the app crashes on

The Pocket Geiger counter works well after setting it up correctly, which I found to be a little tricky. Measuring at least 10 minutes give an accurate measurement with the Type 3 version. I give it 4 starts because the Android application isn't nearly as

I need an attachment to work it. I wondered how my phone could possibly detect radio active decay. Also: need radioactive material to test.
