Robot Talk

This is a Text-To-Speech app.

Please report bugs via developer email address including version number/screen error occurred on. Basically as much info as possible.

Main features of v1.19:
It allows you the ability to share text from other apps/web browsers using the android share feature, using this feature you just select Robot Talk from the list.
It has a stop button added.
Ability to delete files stored in the apps folder via a setting.
Plus an additional storage menu, which tells you how much free space you have on your external storage e.g. SD Card,etc..(Fixed bug on this option and not supported on Android 2,2).
Doesn't require accounts permissions having removed GCM support.
Type in text and playback as speech.
Type in text and save to your SD card
Type in text and save the speech as a default notification/alarm/ringtone.
When you do a save, you can immediately text via mms/email to a friend/family member.
Can setup default email settings.
Can paste text in from other apps, and convert to speech.
Ability to select TTS engine/language/voice rate/pitch.
Also this app is ad-free.
Tested with default engine/SVOX Classic/IVONA.

This app allows you to enter text and hear the robot talk back to you. You can even change the voice output by changing options for voice rate,pitch,engine and even language.
There is also the option to save your output to your external storage, or you can even email/message (via MMS) it to your cool mates or relatives.

It now allows you to save as a notification/ringtone/alarm sound (inc. as the default) , note your file name will show up in the list for each sound saved to. Also, you can paste text in from other apps, via the paste menu option. Warning to Samsung phone/tablet users that your device may randomly crash due to a known copy and paste bug with these devices.

All users have the option to switch Engine via the settings screen. Need to re-open the settings screen to see the language list change.

There is also data validation of settings.

By default the standard Pico.tts engine only supports 6 languages. This app also works with the free SVOX classic engine, and they have free trial voices for languages such as russian, korean, thai, mandarin, brazilian (portugese), etc.. Should also work with the IVONA engine. Prices vary for the additional languages, see the play store for pricing.

Note: This app has no Ads.
