Rocket Launcher changes the whole appearance of your Android

A Launcher is an app that basically changes your dock, app drawer, screens and transitions. It could add some effects too and improve your system performance. However, the more-noticeable change is regarding scenery. We've reviewed lots of launchers which are different in some regards, but quite similar in distribution and icons.

Rocket Launcher is the weirdest launcher we've seen until now. It doesn't mean that it's bad. It's different and that's a matter of taste. The distribution is quite different: there's no dock. At the bottom there's a Wi-Fi signal widget, a button for adding widgets, screens and edit. Instead of dock there's an icon structure in the middle of the screen with the basic icons: browser, messages, app drawer, call log, etc. The app drawer is displayed in a list, vertical scrolling. We don't really like this design, we find it uncomfortable, slow. However, there's a detail that we really appreciate: the version of each app included in its name.

This futuristic layout it isn't as comfortable as we expected. However, we have to recognize that the app runs smoothly. Although it's maybe because it's simple, there aren't too many configuration options (regarding performance, effects, operations, etc).

What's more, the free version contains adds at the bottom, which is annoying in a launcher. If you want to remove it, you have to upgrade to the paid version (£2.99).

Insanity Systems is the developer of this original launcher. We really appreciate innovation and originality but it shouldn't mean sacrificing ease of use. And that's what happens in many cases with this Launcher. Anyway, worthy to try if you want to see something new.

Love it. Most launchers are all pretty much the same. This one is fast and pretty. "Widget screen" is a bit obscure.

    Unorthodox and clumsy
Is there a way to add more apps to the home screen without clicking the clock?

Looking for unique launchers...this is unique, but not my thing. Unattractive and busy.
