* unlocks the "non-root" version of the app
* unlocks control widgets - so you can view and change your DNS from the home screen
* enables password locking of the settings.

Preserves your custom nameserver information when using wireless and 3g/edge mobile connection.
Comes with google, opendns, fooldns settings, enter custom DNS servers and option to revert back to DHCP.
You don't need to back up your nameserver details - just reverting back to DHCP will go back to your normal network settings.
Now also contains OpenDNS Family Shield settings.
Please note, entering the wrong nameserver details can break your internet settings.
Also, some mobile operators run web access via a proxy server, in which case the nameservers on the phone can be less relevant.

If free version of SetDNS not detected, then app will first check if phone is unlocked and then guide user to either download the free version as well, or to get a refund.

Dont bother buying the Pro version, it doesnt do anything the free version doesnt do. the only reason I bought pro was to unlock the non-rooted version, yet it doesnt do that or anything else that its supposed to do. chance it if you want but it will be a

I'm using this to set the DNS on my kids tablet to the Family Shield Open DNS and its working perfectly. I was using ROM Toolbox but when I would check, the DNS would be reset to default after a little while.

You need to root your phone for this to work, but that isn't mentioned in the app's description (and if it is, it's not visible enough) so I paid for an app that will work only when I'll finally manage to root my phone... except that once rooted I wouldn'
