Set Orientation allows you to force your device into a particular screen orientation. Supports all orientations, which on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and above includes reverse (upside-down) and sensor-based orientations.

While you can force any application into any orientation, not all applications will work correctly in all orientations.

My only issue with it is that it seems to be more sensitive than the default. Also, I wish there was a way to hide the notification

Thanks, exactly what I was after to force portrait when using hTC Media Link HD, and force landcape on homescreen when I'm not.

Needed it for my tablet so I could run mog (music streaming app) in landscape while driving my car (tablet is my head unit). And previously MOG was portrait only. Extremely happy. Thank you!

This is a great app, especially on the Nexus 5 where the default launcher doesn't allow Landscape mode. However, I would like a way to shut off the notification that's always up. Adding a setting to remove that notification would be nice, and I can still access the app to change the settings via the App drawer if I need. Thanks.
