Release your inner Bob Ross with this minimalist, highly-functional sketchpad
For those who don't, drawing almost seems some sort of wild black magic. To produce a recognizable image out of a blank white pad is an act of creation that borders on the divine. "Let there be ink," you said, and there was ink. Okay, maybe I was just jealous of kids who graduated beyond macaroni and construction paper. If you're one of the lucky ones with an artistic eye and steady hand, wargoth's Sketcher is your app.
Stroke and/or assault Sketcher's blank white pad with 12 different brushes in whatever mixture of hues and transparency your little heart desires. There's multiple undo and redo functions available, and the old-fashioned eraser won't even leave those annoying little nubbins all over your desk.
Panning and zooming is as easy as pinching in and out, and the canvas size is also adjustable.
If the blank whiteness is overwhelming, the app lets you do something rather cool - import an image from your gallery to use as template. When you save your sketch, the background image will disappear, fooling everyone into thinking you drew that perfect replica of Jonathan Taylor Thomas without a guide.
Using Sketcher on a small device is admittedly tricky; your fingers will quickly feel like fat ole' sausages. I envision tablet use would be way more relaxing as you compose your still life of slowly rotting fruit.
wargoth's Sketcher is exactly what you want from an artsy-fartsy drawing app.

Been using it on and off for the past couple years. Find it very easy to use and fun for quick doodles in random places. Would be cool to see some new brushes. The square brush with now solid color inside or something more funkier. Love Ribbon brush.
I really enjoy sketching on the subway with this app. The menu and ui are two reasons I can't quite give it a 5. If I want to erase it would be great to be able to use my stylus' s built in eraser or even my finger. Going thru several menus to get to the eraser is very annoying and usually I don't remember which brush I was just using ㅠㅠ it would be great if I tapped the side of the screen and the
Sketcher Pro is a gem for those who like variety in their art apps. The brushes are varied and cool, the interface is easy to use and the app works quite well. Love drawing with the stylus, very accurate and so much fun. Would really recommend this to all artists or doodlers. Thanks alot.
I'd really appreciate a refund. I didn't get the download link for ten minutes after purchasing it, then with no icon with it, it took me forever to find the program on my phone, & then longer still to figure out how to set up an icon for it. Now it's supposedly too late for a refund and I have no idea how to get this thing to only draw where I place my pen! It draws huge widths where it should
Excellent app, I'm so glad I stumbled across this app and have enjoyed every minute of it :) ..I would love to have new brushes added! Any chance of some new ones in the very near future?
I found the interface needs a little tweaking and a few more features are needed. Most importantly would love to have tools available at all times while drawing instead of guessing which dot to click for sub menus
Buggy and sometimes alow.
