"See your incoming SMS at a glance and reply faster"

SMS Popup provides a convenient pop-up dialog when a message is received and allows you to reply quickly.

SMS Popup makes it easier to read and reply to text messages. When you receive an SMS, a pop-up dialog with three buttons shows up on your screen. You can close the dialog, delete the SMS or reply to it. If you choose reply, you can compose a message by typing or using speech-to-text. You can also "preset" the reply ie. schedule it to reply later.

Some features can be configured in preferences. For example, you can customize notifications by changing the sound, vibration patterns, LED color (if available in your device) and the notification icon. You can do this for individual contacts or for all of them and you can also schedule reminders just in case you missed the first one. Finally, it allows you to enable privacy mode to hide sender name and message content.

There are some flaws, though… For example, there aren't any options for customizing its appearance, there's no way to reply to multiple contacts from the pop-up window and the pop-up only works when the screen is unlocked.

SMS Popup was developed by Adam K, an individual developer who has just released this app and its paid version with remarkable success.

We really appreciate apps that improve the performance of our Android and this is certainly one of them. Now replying to text messages is easier and faster. Highly recommendable.

Needs to mark messages as read when you reply. Currently they stay in the notification drawer.

Very cool and fast, but I think it needs option to "mark as read" when you hit reply. Definitely would help

This is a great app for it being free and open source hopefully the dev will work on making it a universal notification system.

    1) Seems laggy sometimes. Not sure why this is since it's such a simple app. 2) When Text Messaging is open there is no reason why the pop ups should still appear - I'm already looking at my messages. Should be smart enough to realize when Text Messaging
