SMS Reader reads incoming text messages to you. It also announces caller name of incoming calls.
You don't have to look at the screen anymore.
Open Preferences or add home widget to enable/disable reading.
By default only the sender/caller name is enabled (privacy).

I downloaded this app and now it reads out the page # every time I swipe between app. Nothing turns it off! Otherwise I loved it

I asked my wife to text me and SMS Reader did nothing. It's just an icon sitting on my phone. It doesn't run in the background.
