You can now submit your home or premises meter readings for electricity, gas and water using your Android Phone, with SP Services’ app.

The app enables customers to submit their meter readings in a few simple steps. It also provides an option to submit for multiple premises, if the customer has more than one utilities account registered under his/her name. It helps customers to monitor and better manage their own consumption when they read their own meters and submit the readings for billing during the months when their meters are not scheduled for reading by our meter readers.

As the Market Support Services Licensee in the deregulated electricity market in Singapore, SP Services provides meter reading, data management and billing services. It also processes consumer registration and transfers for electricity retailers. This plays a key role in facilitating competition and consumer choice in the retail market by enabling consumers to switch seamlessly between retailers, and to buy electricity at wholesale market prices.

SP Services also provides metering, billing, payment collection, and customer service on behalf of other utility service providers, including PUB for water charges, City Gas for gas charges, and refuse collection companies for refuse removal fees.

    App works as advertised. However I had to reset my password to login. First login with my e-account shows failed. Also, if there is a built in reminder for submission dates, that would be great!

    It good to submit reading via apps. Please also and in notification for submission, viewbill, pay via apps., notification of rates changes etc. I believe it can be done...

    I can login using the online utilities portal but not this app. Keep prompting me to check user id and password

    Finally submitted my meter readings using this app after on the 3rd try after 4 mths (1st time was buffer overrun, while 2nd time simply can't go to the meter reading page). Now I dun hv to write on paper and submit using my PC. Just 2 suggestions: 1. Will b great if it has OCR feature where we can simply take a picture of the meter. 2. Another useful feature is push reminder for meter readings.
